Google Calendar
Planning around meetings only works if the meetings are in the same place as the work. Connect Google Calendar and your scheduled tasks become real calendar entries, while everything already in your calendar shows up on the plan you're building.

How the sync actually behaves
The two directions are not symmetrical, and it's worth knowing which is which. Changes you make in Planrotfish are pushed to Google immediately — schedule something and it is on your calendar before you've switched tabs.
Changes made in Google come back on a poll rather than a push: a scheduled job pulls every ten minutes, and the app also pulls whenever you focus the tab or return to it. In practice a meeting booked elsewhere shows up either the next time you look at the app or within ten minutes, whichever comes first.
Nothing is ever written twice. Each synced item keeps a stable link to its counterpart, so an edit updates the existing entry instead of creating a second one — the failure mode that makes most calendar integrations unusable after a week.
What it can and can't see
The connection is made with OAuth, so no password is shared and you can revoke it from your Google account or from Planrotfish at any time. Revoking stops the sync; the tasks themselves stay exactly where they are.
You choose which calendars to import when you connect, and can change that later. Calendars you don't import are never read.
Setting it up
Create an account, then find it under Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar. Every connection is part of the single Pro plan at $4.99 per month — there is no per-integration pricing and nothing here is an upgrade.
Questions
Does it create duplicate events?
No. Every synced task keeps a stable reference to the calendar event it created, so subsequent edits update that event rather than adding another. This holds across reschedules, renames and reconnections.
How quickly do Google changes appear in Planrotfish?
Within ten minutes on the background poll, or immediately when you focus the app — whichever happens first. Changes going the other way, from Planrotfish to Google, are pushed straight away.
Can I keep my personal calendar out of it?
Yes. You select which calendars to import when you connect the account, and you can change that selection afterwards. Anything you don't import is never read.
What happens to my calendar if I disconnect?
Syncing stops and nothing further is written. Events already created stay in Google Calendar, and your tasks stay in Planrotfish — disconnecting is not a delete.
